The lectures, often illustrated, are on a wide variety of topics, including the work of novelists, poets and playwrights. There are occasionally well known speakers from further afield, including such names as Andrew Motion, Poet Laureate and Andrew Davies of television fame. Meetings are at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of the month, from September to June, at Oddfellows Hall, 22 New Street, Leamington Spa, CV31 1HP. They also arrange outings to places of literary interest.

There is an annual membership of £15 (joint membership £25) and guests are welcome at £2.50 per event.
